[PLUG] Is linux insufficient?

So last night I stopped by the PLUG meeting. That was the second time I've
watched a PLUG presenter use Windows to talk about Linux and/or UNIX tools.
I assume the people speaking at PLUG are fairly Linux/UNIX-saavy, and that
they would most likely use the best tool for the job. Does this mean that
Linux just is not a good thing to use for presentations? Is Windows/Office
really that much better?

Why does Purdue's Linux Users Group require Windows and Microsoft Office?
