Dear Music enthusiasts,
We solicit your support for Gitanjali, the Indian music program aired on
AM 920 (WBAA), and streamed live on wbaa.org, from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. every Sunday.
Only original audio CDs (cf. music in other formats or downloaded pieces
of music burnt onto CDs) are permitted to be played on this show. We would
like to aggrandize our library of Indian music CDs - classical, light, and
film - so as to have a varied repertoire to draw on for our shows.
Kindly consider:
(i)donating original CDs that you no longer use very much (such as when
you move your music to other formats and find CDs taking up space that
you can use for other purposes),
(ii) selling such CDs to us at a discount,
(iii) giving us a list of CDs that we can borrow from you when we need
them.
Please go through your music collection and decide on
donations/sales/loans at your earliest convenience. We will snap up your
support at the first indication from you!
If you want to exploit this tempting opportunity to donate someone else's
property, please give us your name to put on the donated CDs, so that we
may channelize the repercussions appropriately...
In anticipation,
ICMAP.
