[icmap] Kathak Concert : Donations and Tickets

Dear ICMAPians,

As the excitement towards our Friday Kathak concert builds, we would like
to remind you of a few things:

1. Call for donations:
----------------------
Attached with this email is our call for donations to ICMAP for the
2004-05 season. This letter has the following information:

1. Details of our expenses and receipts for the year 2003-04;
2. Tentative list of concerts for Fall 2005;
3. List of benefits for our donors (including free tickets).

Please remember to make your donations by September 28, 2005, so that you
can avail of the free tickets for the Kathak Concert.

2. Tickets:
-----------

The concert details are as follows:

"Kathak Gunjan" (Classical Indian Dance and Music)
Manasi Tapikar and Kaveri Agashe (Dancers)
Ramdas Palsule (Tabla), Subhash Dasakkar (Vocal),
Shekhar Kumbhojkar (Sitar)

Sep 30 (Fri), 7:30 pm, LOEB Playhouse

Ticket prices
Non-students : $30 (preferred), $20 (general)
Students : $15 (preferred), $10 (general)

Preferred seats comprise the first few rows, and provide a better view of
the stage.

You can book tickets either by emailing us at
melodic at expert.ics.purdue.edu, or directly booking your seat online, at
http://www.purdue.edu/icmap/ticket

We will also be selling tickets at PMU (opposite Villa Pizza) on Sep 310
(Fri), between 9 am and 1 pm.

3. Profits to Charity:
----------------------

As a reminder, all profits from the concert go to Asha for Education, a
non-profit charity organization for basic education in India. If you are
interested in donating directly to Asha, please follow this link to the
